This month, Timon's Web Design and Marketing Class worked on an International Women's Month project where they interviewed all the female faculty and staff throughout our school, detailing their stories of their time and experience at 601 McKinley Parkway!
CHASING THE CHAMPIONSHIP! TIMON FREE-THROW FUNDRAISER
Your BACK-TO-BACK Monsignor Martin Champion Bishop Timon basketball team is headed to the State Playoffs once again! Please join us in our unique fundraiser, featuring every player and Coach from the Varsity, JV, and Freshman basketball teams. All net proceeds will be used to offset the costs of our 3-day State Playoff trip March 7th-9th in the Metro New York area, as well as purchase equipment for all 3 teams!
Here’s how it works…
On Tuesday, March 5th, each player, and Coach will shoot 100 free throws witnessed by coaches and teammates.
• Each player is asked to solicit at least 2-3 sponsors (parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, alumni, friends, neighbors, etc.) to pledge a minimum of $1.00 per MADE free throw. You can pledge more than $1.00 per make if you’d like!
• Sponsors from social media can reach out to Coach Weiser at weiser@bishoptimon.com about supporting a specific player or being assigned to a player to sponsor!
• Each player will submit his list of sponsors to Coach Rowe and Coach Weiser on Tuesday, March 5th by 3 PM.
• Once the contest is completed, each player will notify his sponsors of his results. Payments will be collected by each player. Payments can be made in cash, sent via Venmo to “BTSJ athletics”, or by check made out to “Timon Athletics”. Please put ‘Basketball Fundraiser’ and the player's name you are sponsoring as the memo for Venmo or checks.
• If you would like to just make a straight monetary donation that is greatly appreciated as well. You can make payments in any of the ways listed above or click the link below.

The TIMON TIGERS go BACK-TO-BACK! Your 2023-24 Manhattan Cup Champions! Our journey for a State Championship starts next Friday 3/8 at Fordham University.
Attention all Timon Tigers fans! Our Varsity Hockey team, the number one seed, is set to take on St. Joe's today at 3:00 at Key Bank Center for the MMHSAA Championship. With a 12-3-3-2 record and Federation Regular Season Champs after defeating Canisius 4-2, our Tigers are on the prowl for their first championship title since 2014. Let's show our support and cheer them on to victory!
But the excitement doesn't end there! On Monday 2/26 at 7:45 PM, our Timon Varsity Basketball Team will be competing in the MMHSAA Semifinals at Canisius College. With a record of 22-2 and a recent huge win over Canisius. This team of outstanding players led by WNY all-time point scorer Jaiden Harrison is ready to dominate the court. Jaiden has already beat the record with 2,377 career points and counting!

Due to the continued efforts to clear the snow, Bishop Timon will be closed again Friday. Sports Friday night and Saturday will be decided on an individual game basis, Coach Weiser will make teams aware.
With more snow in the forecast, Timon will be closed again Thursday 1/18/24. All sports and activities are also cancelled. Please stay safe!
