This afternoon on our front lawn Fr. Greg Dobson lead us in prayer as we dedicated our new flagpole to our amazing First Responders. Michael Hacker '27, Tyler Priest '27, and Nate Kill '27 Timon freshmen, and Boy Scouts, raised the flag honoring the victims of 9/11. Congratulations Bryan McNulty We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Bryan McNulty as the new Vice Principal of Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School! With his impressive background in history and education, as well as his extensive experience as a teacher and coach, we are confident that Bryan will thrive in this new position and contribute greatly to our school community. Bryan holds a BA in history from Bucknell University, where he played lacrosse and served as captain during his senior year. He later earned a Masters in Education from Canisius College and is currently pursuing his School Building Leadership certification from the same institution. Since 2004, Bryan has been teaching various history subjects, including AP World History, AP US History, and AP European History. He has been a member of our faculty since 2015-16, where he taught Global Studies 1 & 2, as well as US History and Government Economics. Additionally, Bryan was the head varsity lacrosse coach at Timon from 2016-2021 and has coached varsity lacrosse at schools on Long Island and Brooklyn since 2002. Bishop Timon Principal, Dr. Newton shares his excitement, “With our enrollment growing exponentially, the Board of Trustees approved the hiring of an assistant principal. His responsibilities will include surveying attendance and tardiness, communicating with parents regarding discipline or academic issues, overseeing disciplinary probation, monitoring student academic progress, and working with guidance to oversee the academic support program.” “With his impressive background in history and education, as well as his extensive experience as a teacher and coach, we are confident that Bryan will thrive in this new position and contribute greatly to our school community,” Newton said. “Bryan is a well-respected social studies teacher, and brings valuable insight to our Leadership Team, we are excited to have him in this position.” Please join us in congratulating Bryan on this well-deserved promotion and welcoming him to his new role as Vice Principal!

As our Timon family celebrates Easter, it's important to remember the first brotherhood in Christ on the first Easter. His disciples were overjoyed when they realized the man standing in front of them was the risen Jesus. His first words to them were, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." May all of us who feel the joy of Easter remember that we have all been sent into the world to do God's work today and every day.
